Bill2 Bill

Bill Woods

Bill grew up in Glenwood Springs where he got his first "bike" (a 50cc two stroke Rex Motorbike) when he was 15 and has loved riding ever since.  He's ridden all types of motorcycles since then and just traded his Goldwing for a new 2007 Electra Glide Classic.  He and his wife Marilynn live in the Redlands where he works out of his house as a consulting electrical engineer.  Western Slope HOG is the first motorcycle club Bill has joined and he a Marilynn are looking forward to riding with all the other HOGs.

Barry Rochford

Barry J. Rochford was born and raised in Queens, NY.  After attending college and graduate school in New York, where he received a degree in Special Education with an emphasis on working with the blind and visually impaired, he moved to Fairfax, VA, about 30 miles outside of Washington D.C.  Barry spent the next 13 years working for Fairfax and Loudoun County Public Schools as a teacher, a computer systems technician and the majority of his time as an Assistive Technology Specialist, specializing in technology solutions for persons with disabilities.

In 2003 Barry, his wife Miquette and their two dogs, Bosco and Molly, relocated to Grand Junction, CO.  Since their move they have added yet another dog, Wyatt, to the pack and enjoy the beautiful outdoors of Colorado, especially activities as skiing, hiking, mountain and road biking. Barry also pursues his other passion, stone sculpting whenever possible.

In 2005 Barry co-founded and now manages 13 Photography Gallery & Shop, a downtown Main Street gallery which focuses on promoting fine art photography.

After 15 years of riding metric cruisers, Barry finally attained his dream bike, a 2006 pearl white Deuce for his 40th birthday. He is looking forward to riding with a group and exploring the great west.

Tony Alonzo

Tony Alonzo grew up in Central California near Modesto. He has worked as a peace officer for about 20 years. Tony and his wife moved to Colorado and presently live in Crawford to be closer to her Family. Now the family is just across the North Fence! They raise Morgan Horses. Tony is enjoying the country out here, and the great riding. He is still trying to get his wife to ride with him. She's still not comfortable riding, but he is making progress. Tony could use some help in the form of encouragement from other wives in the club who ride. They are looking forward to some new friends and great riding.

Calvin Hofer

Calvin Hofer was born in Onida, South Dakota.  His father bought him a little Kawasaki 90 when he was in junior high school and he rode that bike all over the county. Calvin has been associated with Rushmore Music Camp off and on for the past 30 years, which is generally the same week as the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Funny how the urge to ride stays with a person, especially when you are in the Black Hills each year during the rally, and you don't have a Harley.

That has been rectified. Now he'll go back to Rushmore Music Camp (and Sturgis) in style, on a Harley! Calvin, and his wife Margaret, ride a 2007 Heritage Softail Classic.  Calvin is Head of the Music Department at Mesa State College and is principal trumpet of the Grand Junction Symphony.

Margaret teaches music at Wingate Elementary school.  They have two sons, Stephen and Timothy, both soccer players.  Stephen will play for Mesa State Fall 2007 on the first ever men's soccer team and Timothy plays for the U14 Grand Mesa Fire. (And they both also play trumpet!)
