PJ and Ed Buechle
Ed was born and raised in Valentine, Nebraska. He grew up on a cattle ranch, was in 4-H. In high school he played football (tackle), and was on the wrestling team. Ed raced stock cars, for quite some time. (He really loved that). Moved here, Ed worked for Moore for 5 years, then went to work for United Companies and has 19 years and is still going strong.
PJ was born in Hornell, New York and raised in Bath, New York and was a strong willed and impetuous child and left home at an early age.. She has experienced a lot in her lifetime and lost her first husband in the war in Vietnam. She has a thing for men in uniform and married a Navy man after that.. Unfortunately things didn’t work out and she ended that relationship and moved from San Diego to Grand Junction with the intention of ending up in the Colorado Springs area. She ended up meeting up with Ed and staying.
PJ and Ed met at the Moose Lodge where she was taking line dance class. He thought she was a little Bitch, because he asked her to dance and she ignored him. (Actually she didn't hear him). He asked a little later, and she said yes. It was some time before he told her that he thought she was a bitch that night. (Can you imagine?) And they are working on 12 years of marriage.
PJ started out riding an 883 Sportster and recently make an upgrade to a 2004 Road King. It is a beautiful ride and she is enjoying riding more than ever. Ed recently bought an Ultra Classic and they have become avid riders and a familiar site on club rides.
PJ is currently our Ladies of Harley officer and we are proud of the great job she is doing. She rode the Saints to Sinners Ride from Salt Lake City to Las Vegas, Nevada by herself and had a great time.
