My Wife Left Me

I don’t understand…After the last child was born, she said we’d have to cut back on expenses.  She said that I would have to stop drinking beer.

Well, I have never been a heavy beer drinker anyway…maybe a 12-pak on the weekend, so I agreed to cut out beer, and I did.

Then, the other day, she came home from grocery shopping, and I was looking at the receipt, and realized that she had spent $45. on make-up items.

I said:  “Hey, wait a minute here…I gave up beer to cut back on expenses, and you haven’t given up anything!”

She said:  “I buy that make-up for you, so I can look pretty for you.”

I said:  “That’s what the beer was for!”

(I don’t think she’ll be back)
